TheGathering, formerly named Gone With the Guild (2016–2022), is my guild in Q-world on the US Server. We welcome new members. We are a quiet but active guild—we get things done!

The original name was a parody/joke. I do not support the ideals expressed in the book GWTW, and elected to change the name shortly after returning to the game in 2022 to be more respectful.

The Gathering (with a space) was my second longest-running guild, in Sinerania (2014–2019), co-founded with Sr Hanz. That guild disbanded during my hiatus. I revived it when Dilmun opened, but the name was taken on Qunrir, so I made it one word there.

📏 Guild Rules:

  1. Stay active; motivate/polish cities and visit taverns
  2. Produce at least one Iron Age good before applying
  3. Have at least one GB and be working toward another (OBS, ARC, or Atomium required for LMA+)
  4. GE: Complete at least Level 1
  5. GBG: Not required while GBG Trials are ongoing
  6. QI: Optional
  7. Fair trades encouraged; unfair trades go in designated thread
  8. No Guild Hoppers—commitment is key!
  9. Communicate with Jane if issues arise
  10. No sniping or flipping GBs without approval
  11. Notify Jane if away for 7+ days (re-invite available)
  12. Stay active in messages and respond to leaders
  13. No drama. Be kind.

⚔️ GE & GBG Participation

  • We’ve placed 1st in GE many times! Please complete at least Level 1 weekly—or the first 8 encounters. If you’re new or under-leveled, just let Jane know you can only do 4.
  • In GBG, follow the target symbol for active sectors. A hand icon means stop. (We welcome more GBG-savvy players!)

🏛️ Guild Treasury

No set donation amount, but please contribute weekly if you can. Even small donations via GBs (OBS, Arc, etc.) help us unlock GE levels.

💬 Guild Communication

We’re low-key with message threads, but please check in. We occasionally ask questions that need replies. FP swap threads are especially helpful!

🏗️ Great Building Etiquette

  • Help your guildmates’ GBs, but let them add the final FPs to double dip (collect twice in 24 hours).
  • Accidental flips happen—just apologize and try not to repeat.
  • GBs like Zeus or Temple of Relics don’t have collections, so flipping is usually fine.
  • Unless given permission, don’t level someone’s GB. Many players sync their GB collections and rely on memory.

🏠 City Care

  • Aid your guildmates often—motivate/polish and visit taverns. It helps you earn coins and Blueprints!
  • Remove Stone Age decorations once you reach Bronze Age. They don’t generate BPs and may discourage others from aiding you.

🌟 General Expectations

  • Be kind. No drama.
  • Notify Jane in-game or by e-mail if you’ll be inactive for 7+ days. Two unannounced absences may result in removal, but you’re welcome back when ready.

📌 Notes

We usually unlock 2-3 GE levels. Happy to open more if the participation is there. GE costs scale with the total number guild members—active or not.

Admin tools show inactivity. If you’re active in genera,l but skip GE consistently, it may affect your standing. Even doing the first 4 encounters helps! Zeros in GE are bad!

GE and GBG help us level up the guild. Higher levels = better perks for you (like FPs from Town Hall instead of just coins).
