📱 App Only

Games in this section are playable only on mobile apps. I use an iPad or iPhone, depending on whether the game requires true GPS (a mobile hotspot won’t cut it). I’ll always try to note if a game has an Android version, but compatibility can vary based on your device’s age, OS version, memory, and storage. Unless I’ve read something specific, I may not be able to confirm exact device requirements—there are just too many out there.

🔄 Mobile + PC

These games work on both computers and mobile devices. Keep in mind that some features available on desktop may not exist on mobile, and vice versa.

💻 PC Only*

Games here are playable only on computers (and sometimes consoles like Xbox or PlayStation). I use both Windows and Mac systems, but I game on Windows—mostly because I had it first and don’t want to re-purchase software for Mac. My MacBook Air wasn’t built for high-end gaming, so unless I specify otherwise, assume games listed here are compatible with either system as long as you download the correct version.

Commodore 64 games! My first love in gaming, and still part of my rotation.

🎴 Board & Card

Physical board and card games. If I play a digital version, I’ll cross-list it in the appropriate section. The biggest challenge here? Finding enough people willing to play in person!

🎮 NES Switch

Games I play on the Nintendo Switch. While I enjoy several, Animal Crossing: New Horizons is the one I return to most often—and the one I’ve featured here so far.
