About Jane

Hi, I’m Jane—a lifelong gamer, creative strategist, and digital systems whisperer based on the East Coast of the United States. I’ve been gaming since the early ’80s, starting with a Commodore 64 (which I still own and treasure). My journey through pixels and play has always been about more than entertainment—it’s about creativity, connection, and helping others find joy in the games they love.

I gravitate toward games that offer deep creative freedom and emotional storytelling. Some of my all-time favorites include:

  • 🎮 Adventure Construction Set (Commodore 64) – where I first learned the magic of building worlds.
  • 🏡 The Sims (Windows/Mac) – for its blend of design, narrative, and quirky charm.
  • 🌳 Animal Crossing: New Horizons (Nintendo Switch) – a cozy ritual of community and customization.
  • 🏰 Forge of Empires (Browser/iPad) – my mainstay since 2015, where I’ve built cities, founded guilds, and supported friends through strategy, troubleshooting, and shared play.

Over the years, I’ve helped countless fellow players—whether it’s breaking down game mechanics, solving tech hiccups, or just being a steady, encouraging voice in chat. That instinct to support and uplift others carries through to my professional work in executive support and digital operations, where clarity and care are always front and center.

As for my gamer name (Jane Bingum the Just)? It’s a nod to Jane Bingum, the brilliant, big-hearted lead in Drop Dead Diva. Her blend of intelligence, empathy, and unapologetic strength resonated with me deeply. I was delighted to discover a Forge of Empires avatar that looked just like her—it felt like a quiet tribute to the kind of character I aspire to be, both in-game and out.

This site started as a personal playground, but it’s also a reflection of how I approach systems, storytelling, and support—with creativity, precision, and heart. Whether you’re here for fun or exploring my work, I’m glad you stopped by.
